Sign Wars Begin In Howard County

The large political signs are starting to go up around Howard County. This past Saturday, I was out helping a group put up signs up on Snowden River Parkway. Here is a shot of me standing under the sign that everyone who travels along Route 100 will see.

Another sign I helped put up on route 103.

Unfortunately, as reported by Ed C (who provided the pictures above) at Howard County Blog here and here, the goons are already out (whether sanctioned by the Howard County Democratic Party is unknown) trying to intimidate Republicans by destroying some of the signs and defacing others. I guess vandalism and intimidation must be part of that politics of “Hope” and “Change” the supporters of Obama are always talking about….

Unfortunately I was busy all weekend, so I have not yet taken a chance to see any of the other 52-4 foot x 8 foot McCain/Palin signs that were put up all around Howard County.
